Hotel Facility Usage Regulations
To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests, InterContinental Yokohama Grand (hereinafter referred to as "the Hotel") has established the following terms and conditions of use in accordance with Article 10 of the Accommodation Contract. We ask for your cooperation in complying with these terms and conditions. If you fail to abide by these rules, we may be forced to refuse your stay or use of the hotel's facilities in accordance with Articles 7 and 18 of the Accommodation Contract. We may also hold you liable, so please be especially mindful of this.
Fire prevention precautions
- 1. Please do not bring in or use any open flames, irons, etc. for heating or cooking purposes within the hotel.
- 2. Please refrain from smoking in places where fires are likely to occur, such as in bed, or while walking in the hallways or lobby.
- 3. Do not touch firefighting equipment except in an emergency.
- 4. Please refer to the evacuation route map posted on the back of the guest room entrance door.
Safety precautions to be observed
- 1. Please make sure to lock the door when you leave your room during your stay.
- 2. Please lock the door from the inside and use the safety guard during your stay, especially when you go to bed. If you have a visitor, please do not open the door carelessly and check that they are there. If you suspect a suspicious person, please contact the front desk immediately.
- 3. Please meet visitors in the lobby.
- 4. We strictly prohibit anyone other than registered guests from staying at the hotel.
Valuables and items in storage
Handling
- 1. Please be sure to deposit cash and other valuables in the safety deposit box at the front desk on the 2nd floor. The hotel will not be held responsible for any loss of valuables in the guest rooms.
- 2. Lost property will be handled in accordance with the law.
- 3. The handling of deposited items will be governed by the provisions regarding the handling of deposited items, etc., in Article 15 of the Accommodation Terms and Conditions.
Payment
- 1. Please note that upon arrival, you may be asked to pay a deposit (advance payment) as determined by the hotel. If the hotel requests payment during your stay, please make the payment as it arrives.
- 2. When signing for a table at the hotel's restaurants and bars, please be sure to present your room key card or the accommodation booklet (key booklet) provided to you at the front desk upon arrival.
- 3. Please note that we cannot accept payment or exchange with checks other than traveler's checks.
- 4. We will not pay for shopping at the hotel shop, airline tickets, train or bus tickets, taxi fares, postage stamps, luggage transportation, etc.
- 5. Please note that a facility usage fee will be charged if you use the telephone in your room.
- 6. In addition to statutory taxes, a 15% service charge will be added to your bill.
- 7. We will decline any tips for employees.
Behaviors we ask you to refrain from
- 1. Please refrain from the following actions as they will cause inconvenience to other customers.
- (1) Please do not bring into the hotel any items that may cause inconvenience to other guests.

- 1 ) Dogs, cats, small birds, and other pet animals in general. (However, this does not apply to guide dogs, hearing dogs, assistance dogs, etc.)
- ②Items that emit bad or unpleasant odors.
- 3) Dangerous items such as gunpowder or volatile oils that are easily ignited or flammable.
- ④Please refrain from bringing in any other items prohibited by law.Please refrain from gambling or any other behavior that disrupts public morals within the hotel.
- (2) Please refrain from shouting, singing loudly, or engaging in any other disruptive behavior that may disturb other guests within the Hotel.
- (3) Guest rooms may not be used for purposes other than lodging and dining without the permission of the Hotel.
- (4) Please refrain from bringing food or drinks into the hotel or ordering takeout food or drinks from outside.
- (5) Please refrain from moving any Hotel equipment or items to another location or otherwise altering the current state of the Hotel without the permission of the Hotel.
- (6) Please do not display anything by the windows that may damage the appearance of the hotel.
- (7) We strictly prohibit anyone other than registered guests from staying at the Hotel. Please do not invite outside guests into your guest room.
- (8) Distributing or displaying advertising materials or soliciting goods for sale within the Hotel is prohibited without the permission of the Hotel.
- (9) Please note that any public posting of photographs taken within the Hotel for commercial purposes without permission may be subject to legal action.
- (10) Please do not go outside the hallway or elsewhere wearing yukata, nightwear, bathrobes, or slippers.
- 2. If you do not immediately stop the "behavior we ask you to refrain from" as stated in the preceding paragraph after receiving a warning from the Hotel, you will be denied use of the facilities within the Hotel.
Use of facilities by anti-social forces
Regarding prohibitions
1. The following organizations and individuals will be denied use of the hotel facilities:
- (1) Organized crime groups, members of organized crime groups, organizations related to organized crime groups, and those associated with them
- (2) A person related to a corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by an organized crime group or a member of an organized crime group
- (3) Anti-social organizations, members of anti-social organizations, and related parties
- (4) When assault, injury, threats, extortion, coercive unjust demands, or similar acts are recognized.
- (5) A person who is mentally impaired, has lost control due to drugs, or is otherwise unable to ensure his or her own safety, or who may pose a danger, fear, or anxiety to other guests.
- 2. If any of the preceding paragraphs (1) to (3) applies to you, we will refuse all use of the service from that point onwards.
