Oktoberfest is the world's largest beer festival, held in Munich, Germany since 1810. This event has been held since 2003 at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, a historical building that incorporates some German architectural styles, allowing attendees to enjoy an atmosphere as close as possible to the original Oktoberfest in Germany. This year marks its 23rd edition. As a "symbol of autumn" in Yokohama, it is one of the major events at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, attracting approximately 130,000 visitors last year.

Yokohama Marathon 2026

The full marathon starts in front of Yokohama Landmark Tower, offering scenic views of Yokohama such as the Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park. The second half of the race is the only one in Japan where you can run on the Metropolitan Expressway, and the finish line is at PACIFICO Yokohama Rinko Park, overlooking the Bay Bridge. In addition to the full marathon, there are a variety of other events to enjoy, including the Bay Area Highway Run, a pair relay, the Minatomirai 7km Run, and the Enjoy Run (approximately 3km).
