Performer Profiles

Takatoki Suzuki
Bandoneon

Born in Sapporo. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Department of Musicology.
He studied bandoneon under Ryota Komatsu. He participated in a South American tour as a member of Ryota Komatsu & Orquesta Tipica.
He went to Argentina alone to study, where he was mentored by Osvaldo Montes, Julio Pane, and Nestor Marconi. He also participated in various tango festivals in Argentina.
In 2014 and 2015, he participated in domestic tours as a member of the Andres Linetsky Orchestra.
He has participated in the performance of music for dramas and anime, including the NHK Taiga drama "The 13 Lords of Kamakura."
He leads his own tango band, "Suzuki Takao cuarteto," and released their first album, "Toda mi vida," in 2020.
Currently active in concerts and recordings both domestically and internationally.

Hiroki Fukui
Guitar

In 2009, she moved to France and obtained a music research qualification from the Aulnay-sous-Bois Departmental Conservatory (near Paris), and a national professional musician qualification and national music education qualification from the Hauts-de-France Superior Conservatory of Music (Lille).
In 2017, they released the album "Ars Moderna" through Klarthe.
He has collaborated with musicians both in Japan and abroad, including Ryota Komatsu, Satoshi Kitamura, Takao Suzuki, Jun Hayakawa, Hitoshi (bandoneon), Tetsuya Kuwayama, Yoshiaki Sato, Masahiro Aoki (accordion), Kumiko Kondo, Momoko Aida (violin), KaZZma (vocals), Kotaro Oshio, Hitoshi Oki, Mirta Alvarez, Gustavo Eiriz, and Leonardo Bravo (guitar), and is working to promote Argentine guitar music.

Hiroki Fukui

Midori Saito
Flute

Born in Tokyo. Began playing the flute at the age of 10. Graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music.
Received the Jury Prize at the All Japan Junior Classical Music Competition and the Burckhardt International Competition. Performed at the winners' recital.
She has performed in numerous concerts, including "La Folle Journée au Japon 2005" at the Tokyo Forum.
Since 2020, I have participated in recordings with pianist Shinya Kiyozuka.
Currently, she performs in a wide range of musical genres, including concerts mainly featuring Argentine tango with bandoneon player Takao Suzuki and guitarist Hiroki Fukui, as well as duets with harpists, chamber music in various ensembles, and recordings for commercials and dramas.
